At your appointment
Your appointment will start with a consultation to discuss your style preferences, how you wish your piercing to look and any concerns regarding your piercings that you may have.
We also go through any after-care instructions to make sure you have an easy and healthy healing period. You will also be given a printed copy to take away with you.
Before your appointment, please avoid consuming any blood-thinning substances 24 hours before piercing. This includes alcohol and aspirin; your piercer will go through any medication you may be taking, which could impact the risk of bleeding during and after the piercing.
At Pierced, we uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety. Our preparation protocols adhere to rigorous sterilisation procedures, employing advanced, state-of-the-art equipment to ensure a sterile and secure environment for every client.
We have been inspected and granted a piercing licence by Buckinghamshire Council. This permit is visible in the salon.

Aftercare

Clean your piercing twice a day using a sterile saline solution. Wash your hands before cleaning.

Do not touch/fiddle/twist your piercing, and do not pick any crusting or scabs.

Avoid sleeping on your new piercing. If possible, use a piercing pillow or travel pillow.

Bleeding, bruising and swelling are normal. If any concerns please message me anytime.

Do not use cotton balls as the fibres can irritate the piercing.

Stay hydrated; this will help the healing process.

Avoid using chemicals or cleaning solutions such as TCP, Tea tree oil, salt water to clean your piercing.
